The gourmet restaurant ice Q awarded with two toques by Gault & Millau is perched 3,048m above sea level. Its stylish lounge and panoramic terrace resemble a film set in itself: Experience the spectacular panoramic view of the Ötztal mountains from the all-glass restaurant area. It is little wonder that SPECTRE’s location scouts saw this jaw-dropping scenery as a suitable shooting spot. Featuring innovative Alpine cuisine set against the backdrop of the stunning Austrian Alps, it really is a unique dining experience.
Exceptional location
Sheer fascination is what awaits you when you step out of the cabin of the cable car on top of the Gaislachkogl. Right there, high above Sölden, is where the ice Q restaurant is located. The ultra-modern building made of glass and steel harmonizes perfectly with the surrounding mountains: an almost surreal appearance. The restaurant itself is often labelled a “temple of indulgence”, since the culinary selection is what makes the experience complete.

The concept: combining the finest Pinot Noirs from three renowned wineries of Austria, Germany and Italy. The result: PINO 3000 – a wine that matures in a custom-built wine cellar at the summit of the Gaislachkogl at 3,048 meters above sea level. There it unfolds its unmistakable character.
