FALCON RESTAURANTS
Pleasure at its best
Our restaurants at the Gaislachkogl middle station
Both gastronomically and visually, the restaurants at the mid-station of the Gaislachkoglbahn shine in a new look. The concept is influenced by stimulating transparency. The staging of contemporary food trends and the incredible panoramic views of the Ötztal mountains reflect this even more.
Market restaurant meets à la carte
Impressive panoramic views
The market restaurant
Fast, relaxed, and uncomplicated: the market restaurant on the first floor invites you to recharge your batteries. In addition to well-known classics such as Wiener Schnitzel, vegan or vegetarian dishes can also be found at the various stations. The show kitchen effectively stages the fresh preparation of the selected dishes. Whether pasta, curry, ramen, and other delicacies – the varied range leaves nothing to be desired. The innovative payment system also guarantees significant time savings. The advantage: you don’t have to pay until after you’ve eaten.

A place with a foresight
Architecture and culinary delights at over 2,000 m above sea level
The Gaislachkogl offers a rewarding destination for active mountain enthusiasts all year round. Furthermore, Bergbahnen Sölden realized two completely new restaurants at the mid-station under the name FALCON to meet the expectations of sporty guests regarding culinary delights.
Architecture and nature
As with the ice Q – Austria’s highest 2-hood restaurant at the summit of the Gaislachkogl – the unique design and form language of the Tyrolean architecture firm Obermoser characterizes the design. Architecture is the unifying element of the market restaurant on the first floor and the à la carte restaurant on the upper floor. Bright, high rooms with large panoramic glass surfaces create a breathtaking ambiance in which the Ötztal mountains virtually take their place at the dining table.
The naming
The name FALCON is derived from the panoramic view and natural elegance of the falcon and its kingdom in the air and mountains. Accordingly, the Bergbahnen Sölden presents its culinary and architectural credo in a sovereign and focused manner at this location.
