The 1st Mountain Cart Games Sölden celebrate their premiere on the Gaislachkogl Adventure Mountain from 11 to 12 September 2026. In teams of three, it’s not just about racing the off-road carts down the 7 km track to the valley. Along the way, creative challenges demand skill, teamwork and a good dose of fun.

Driving fun for the whole family on the longest mountain cart track in Tyrol! Along 7,3 km you can cruise from the mountain down to the valley. The brand new highlight for young and old – and with fantastic views of the Ötztal mountains.



Infos & facts about the mountaincarts
COURSE: 7,3 kilometer long natural track, from the Gaislachkogl middle station (2.170 m) to the Gaislachkogl valley station (1.366 m).
MOUNTAIN CARTS: The mountain carts are handed out at the Gaislachkogl middle station in front of the tunnel and returned in front of the bus parking garage opposite the Gaislachkogl valley station. Reservation one day in advance>>
PRICES PER MOUNTAIN CART: Adults: € 33,- / Kids: € 24,-.
CABLE CAR-TICKETS: The ascent with the Ötztal Summer Card is included. The Gaislachkoglbahn is daily open from 9 am – 4 pm. Paid car parking available at the valley station of the Gaislachkogl cable car. Ticket prices for the mountain railway>>
MINIMUM AGE: Children under the age of 12 are only allowed to use the route in the presence of a responsible adult of age. Children from the age of 10 and a height more than 130 cm are allowed to use a mountain cart alone.
SAFETY: Helmets are compulsory and closed, sturdy shoes must be used. Appropriate outdoor clothing is also necessary. Helmets are handed out directly at the pick-up point.

Another highlight: Friday Bike Evening
The Bike Evening in Sölden offers the perfect setting every Friday for a relaxed after-work ride. Extended operating hours apply to the Gaislachkoglbahn (Section I), comfortably taking you to the starting point.
- From 3 July to 21 August 2026
- every Friday the lines and trails stay open until 8.00 pm
- The Gaislachkogl I gondola runs extended hours, with the last ride up at 7:15 pm
